When did the revised water utility fees come into effect?
From July 1, 2021
How much will the water utility fees change?
Water utility fees have been increased by 12% on average.
Water utility fees
Your water bill is calculated based on the amount of water you use. Every two months, someone will come to read your water meter. If your household is connected to the public sewage system, you will also be billed for the use of sewage services, which should be paid together with your water utility fees.
New water bill calculation system
Water utility fees are determined based on the following two criteria:
- Amount of water used
- Diameter of water meter (see the photo on the right)
Content of your water bill
Please see "Information about your current water and sewage usage (water meter reading slip). " (The photo on the right shows a sample slip.)
(A) Diameter of water meter (In the case of this sample, the water meter's diameter is 20 mm.)
(B) Units of water (i.e. amount of water consumed)
(C) Water fees (revised as of July 1, 2021)
(D) Sewage fees (no revision)
